Membership
The Skating Club of Central Ohio membership year coincides with the current US Figure Skating membership year (July 1 - June 30). The Skating Club of Central Ohio offers two types of memberships, a "Home Club" membership and an "Associate" membership.
Home Club
A Home Club Membership includes membership in both the Skating Club of Central Ohio and US Figure Skating. This type of membership designates the Skating Club of Central Ohio as the "Home Club" of the skater/member.
As the home club, SCOCO serves as the local conduit between US Figure Skating and the skater/member. Membership renewals, test activity, and other correspondence between the skater/member and US Figure Skating is a complimentary service managed by the Skating Club of Central Ohio for Home Club members.
All home club memberships, that are received prior to September 1st, include one free test at a SCOCO test session in that membership year. In addition, SCOCO offers a variety of Home Club Memberships at varying membership fees. See below for a breakdown of cost and required qualifications.

Associate
An Associate Membership provides membership in the Skating Club of Central Ohio but not a membership in US Figure Skating.
This membership is typically for a skater/member that has selected another skating club as their "home club". The skater's home club will provide/manage the membership in US Figure Skating. An associate member of the Skating Club of Central Ohio includes SCOCO voting privileges, club ice access, as well as allows a skater to avoid guest fees when testing at a SCOCO test session.
Learn To Skate/Aspire
A Learn To Skate (LTS) membership is provided through the Chiller LLC rinks for those skaters participating in their first season of Learn To Skate group skating lessons or competitions. See your group instructor for more information.
If a skater is participating in a second season of LTS group lessons or is a new Aspire team member, they should purchase a LTS/Aspire 1 membership. This level of membership will provide a renewed LTS number as well as access to club ice.
Intro/Aspire 2 memberships transition skaters to a full membership. Skaters participating in the Aspire Program for a second season or skaters that are new to the club and require their first USFS membership should purchase this level of Home Club membership (benefits listed below).
